On August 6, 2026, easyJet announced that it had agreed to be acquired by funds affiliated with private equity firm Apollo Capital Management (“Apollo”) at a price of £7.15 per share in cash. Following the closing of the proposed transaction, easyJet investors will be cashed out of their investment position and the Company’s shares will no longer be publicly traded.
The investigation principally concerns whether easyJet investors will be receiving an appropriate payment for their shares, and whether the Company’s officers and/or directors breached their fiduciary duties or violated the securities laws in agreeing to the £7.15 per share buyout price from Apollo.
easyJet shareholders are encouraged to contact Kaskela Law LLC (D. Is £7.15 per share a fair buyout price for easyJet shares or are investors potentially being shortchanged?
